From its beginning, Emory Walker Co. has been a company committed to serving Central and South Florida with quality and excellence.
- September 1959 Emory Lee Walker graduated from Lindsey Hopkins Technical School in Miami Florida with a degree in Refrigeration Technologies.
- January 1960 Emory began using his new skill set to work on dairy refrigeration equipment in the South Florida region.
- January 1966 Emory Applied with the County of Okeechobee for a business License and Emory Walker Co. was born.
- May 1968 Emory Walker Co. hired its first employee to assist with the growing demand for refrigeration work.
- April 1975 Emory Walker Co. secured exclusive rights with Lennox Air Conditioning to become a licensed dealer of genuine Lennox Equipment.
- March 1, 1979 Emory became a State Certified Class A Air Conditioning Contractor.
- February 1981 Emory Walker Co. built a new building where it is currently located today.
- August 1982 Emory Walker Co implemented its Planned Service program which entitled each of its customers to 24 hour assistance.
- February 1984 Emory Walker Co. became a Charter Member of the Lennox Dealer Advisory Council.
- December 1985 Steve and Scott graduated from Mid Florida Technical Institute with a degree in Refrigeration Technologies and Air Conditioning.
- December 1987 Steve became a State Certified Class B Air Conditioning Contractor.
- December 1995 Scott became a State Certified Class B Air Conditioning Contractor.
- January 1998 Emory Walker Co began installing dairy equipment.
- November 2012 Scott Walker becomes Emory Walker Company’s 2nd president.
- July 2014 Emory Walker Co installs the first automated calf feeding system in the State of Florida for Milking R Dairy.
